Where is SmartLotion® Safe To Apply?
SmartLotion® can be safely applied anywhere eczema or dermatitis can occur.
This includes:
- The eyelids
- Ears and ear canal
- Vulva
- Scrotum
Dr. Harlan typically instructs his patients to apply SmartLotion® to sensitive areas in the same way that he would instruct them to apply SmartLotion® to the face.
The only type of area where SmartLotion® should not be applied is inside an open wound. The anti-inflammatory effects of the 0.75% hydrocortisone can inhibit the healing of the wound.
For open wounds, Dr. Harlan recommends that his patients instead apply SmartLotion® around the wound.
