Stinging can occur when first applying SmartLotion®. For instructions on how to reduce the stinging, please click here.
Symptoms:
Blisters or red lumps that can be itchy or have a prickly feeling. Caused by blocked sweat ducts and trapped sweat beneath the skin.
Recovery:
Dr. Harlan typically treats his adult patients for heat rash by having them apply SmartLotion® 2-3x per day for up to 2 weeks.
Prevention:
To prevent heat rash from returning, Dr. Harlan instructs his adult patients to apply SmartLotion® 1x per day, or less as needed.
